Academic Coaching

Helps students stay focused, organised, and complete tasks on time.

Confidence to Aspire

Academic Coaching is not tutoring or counselling. For tutorials, please visit the Services page (link). An academic coach helps to guide you through the academic school year. You will learn how to make the most of your time while at school, home, work, or play. Coaching helps to sharpen your skills and get the right attitude for success. Understand how to use time effectively at the present moment and learn how to avoid procrastination and its consequences.

Academic coaching is available to everyone of all learning levels and strengths.

Students will learn various strategies to help organize and manage their lives and time effectively. Students will learn how to structure assignments, projects, and research into smaller chunks. Planning how to manage time to properly plan and complete tasks on time using organizational and management skills will emphasise success. Goal setting and prioritising are developed in conjunction with agenda use, notebook organization, developing a personal schedule for school, work, and play. Managing a study area will also be demonstrated and developed.
